Obama to speak on food security

(MILAN)

The highly anticipated global food innovation summit is underway in Milan. Seed and Chips opened its door this morning to an expectant crowd eager to contribute to the debate around food security and sustainability.

Former US President Barack Obama will join the proceedings tomorrow. He is in Italy for the summit and to catch up with friends he made during his time in the Washington hot seat, including former Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

Ahead of tomorrow’s speech by Obama, the event has been looking at the impact millennials are having on the food industry.

As part of what is a packed conference programme.
