The three finalists in the Richard Branson backed Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) have been named at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
Australia’s Power Ledger – a blockchain-focused energy trading platform; Revl, a ‘smart action, AI-powered camera system’; and Utah-based Owlet Baby Care – pioneering new baby monitoring systems – are the three that will compete in the final, which will be held on Branson’s Necker Island later this year.
“We are hunting for people and ideas that can literally change the world,” Richard Branson said.
The winner will bag international exposure for their product and get access to an invaluable network of business leaders.
Due to the hurricanes which have devastated the British Virgin Islands, the final has been moved from next month to the Autumn.
