MWC25 Kigali Returns with Focus on Africa’s Digital Future

MWC25 Kigali, the African continent’s largest and most influential connectivity event, will return on 21- 23 October with a dynamic agenda designed to foster cross-border collaboration, investment, and policy dialogue. Hosted by the GSMA in partnership with the Ministry of ICT & Innovation of Rwanda, the event will bring together regional and global leaders to shape the future of digital transformation across Africa.

New for 2025, MWC Kigali will feature the launch of the GSMA Ministerial Programme, a flagship programme from MWC Barcelona. This initiative will bring together policy makers, industry leaders and innovators to discuss and shape Africa’s digital future.

Innovators Magazine is a media partner of the event which will have keynotes from speakers including Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation, Hon. Mrs. Paula Ingabir and Orange’s EVP & CEO, Middle East and Africa, Yasser Shaker, with more speaker confirmations to come.

MWC Kigali has a thought leadership programme that is focused on the themes shaping our industry and Africa’s digital future: Connected Continent, The AI Future, Fintech and Africa’s Digital Frontier. And, in response to increasing demand for sector-specific insight, MWC Kigali will host a range of summits, including FinTech, 5G, and the debut Security Summit.
