The 2018 edition of Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona has come to an end.
More than 107,000 people – from over 200 countries – attended this year’s MWC Barcelona, the world’s leading mobile technology event. Innovators Magazine is a media partner with the Congress, which made progress this year on gender equality, with 28% of the speakers women – up from 21% in 2017. Let’s make it 50% in 2019.
John Hoffman, CEO of organisers GSMA, said: “We had another highly successful Mobile World Congress, across so many fronts. We are gratified with the number of senior-level attendees, particularly the number of CEOs, as well as the continued strong attendance of government ministers and regulators.”
