The Impact Communications Programme is for females under 25 interested in discovering more about communicating cross sector innovation. It is a collaborative initiative operated in partnership with Menu B, designed to support UN Global Goal 5, to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
I was delighted to be the first to join the Impact Comms Programme.
Carlotta de Toni was the first to join the programme in 2018/19, before going on to finish her studies in the Netherlands. As well as traveling to events across Europe, one in Asia, and delivering a keynote for the magazine at a Global Goals event, Carlotta implemented her own ideas, including an Instagram journey through the SDGs and a magazine podcast. She also successfully completed the renowned Climate Reality Leadership training, after our Editor-at-large, Marc Buckley, encouraged her to apply.
Carlotta said: “The programme is designed to let young people discover more about the interconnections between sectors and the key role communication plays in accelerating progress and innovation.”

Beatriz is a fantastic new 2020 connection, who will cover cross sector events throughout this year, including the e-delivery expo in Barcelona this June. Beatriz will also take forward her own ideas, and share her insight on a range of topics on these pages.
The magazine founders support the Impact Comms Programme in a bid to offer young people who are passionate about communicating sustainable innovation a platform where they can make a real impact. Foundations, corporations or organisations interested in sponsoring the initiative can get in touch with co-founder, Susan Robertson, to find out more: susan@innovatorsmag.com
