The first female President of Ireland – and leading human rights ambassador – Mary Robinson will give the keynote at EIT InnoEnergy’s flagship annual event. Undoubtedly one of the most important dates in the calendar when it comes to global sustainable energy innovation, The Business Booster (TBB) is being held in Paris this October under the theme: humanising the energy transition.
“The Business Booster is a catalyst for innovation in the energy sector, but now more than ever we need to focus on the human side into the energy transition. People from across the world come here to collaborate on solving the biggest challenge humankind has ever faced. But while technological innovation and regulation is key, so too is creativity and diversity, and an appreciation of the role for consumers in adapting to support a successful energy transition. This year we’re putting this need at the heart of our event,” said Diego Pavia, EIT InnoEnergy CEO.
The two-day event is viewed as a ‘melting pot of new ideas’ as it attracts up to 1000 delegates from more than 40 countries. Startups, industry leaders, policy makers, financial experts and regulators will be among those gathering in the French capital to share the latest tech breakthroughs in clean energy and spark new collaborations that can inspire an acceleration of these types of innovations. The event will include panel discussions, interactive sessions and opportunities for businesses to pitch to investors.
TBB runs from 3-4 October at Palais des congrès de Paris. Use code: EARLY BIRD at check-out to get a 30% discount until 31 July.
