A London-based startup providing accommodation and employment training to homeless people has been awarded $350,000 at Chivas Venture 2018.

Social enterprise Change Please was the biggest winner on Friday night as $1 million of no-strings attached cash was handed out to the next generation of game changers; with star and entrepreneur will.iam handing out the prizes at a star-studded bash in the Dutch capital.

Change Please secures homeless people a place to stay within 10 days and trains them as baristas.

“I’m so happy – I think I’m still in shock. It’s been a hard and long journey, but to have made 26 incredible new friends from all over the world – that’s been the real highlight for me. The last four months have been amazing; I just want to give a huge thanks to Chivas,” said Founder of Change Please, Cemal Ezel.
