Japan and Hong Kong are home to the world’s top science and technology clusters, according to the Global Innovation Index 2018.
The index, released today, is produced by Cornell University, INSEAD and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). And it reveals that Tokyo-Yokohama and Shenzhen-Hong Kong are leading innovation destinations for science and tech.
More generally this year’s index fell under the theme Energizing the World with Innovation – with a focus on efforts being made in green tech to tackle climate change.
Switzerland came out on top of the overall index – see how your country did.
