A new partnership between the Bank of America and a fintech startup is good news for charities across the US.
The ‘minority, women-led fintech startup’, uBack, connects people with 800,000 nonprofits looking for financial support from the public. And the company’s platform will now be promoted via Bank of America’s 24 million mobile banking customers.
Melissa Bodford, co-founder and CEO of uBack, said: “uBack was created because we believed that technology could make it easier than ever for people to change the world. Now, thanks to our powerful partnership with Bank of America, more than 24 million people will be able to leverage that technology and make a profound impact — right from their phones.”
