European startups are some of the groups set to benefit from €2.7 billion of funding being made available to the continent’s top innovators.
From today, the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot programme, pioneered by the European Commission, is welcoming applications to a €2.7 billion pot targeted at “entrepreneurs, small companies and scientists with bright ideas and the ambition to scale up internationally”. It focuses on companies with “radically different” and “highly risky” products and services with the potential to make a global impact.
And startups are invited to apply for the chance to secure multi-million euro support, as well as various coaching and networking opportunities provided via the EIC.
