(BRUSSELS)

The great and the good of the biotechnology industry will gather in the Belgian capital this October.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Bioeconomy (EFIB) will see Brussels transformed into the global capital of the industry from 9 to 11 October.

“EFIB is now renowned by a global audience as the annual EU meeting place for business and policy on Industrial Biotech and the biobased economy. This year’s event takes place at a vibrant and dynamic time for the industry. For example, we are in the midst of preparation of proposals for EU-wide Public Private Partnerships on Biobased Industries and on Resource Efficiency in the Processing Industry,” the event’s website states.

The focus at this year’s gathering will be Bioeconomy 2.0: Commercial success and the path towards a brighter bio-based future.

And Innovators Magazine will be producing a special edition, which will include our usual roundup from around the innovation economy, as well as all the game changing developments from the burgeoning bioeconomy. Book your coverage now.
