Team Rubio

Boost for social impact pioneers

A European investment fund committed to accelerating circular economy solutions has raised €110m.

The Rubio Impact Ventures fund says it expects to support more than 30 companies through this second funding round, across its three impact themes: circular solutions, people power, and healthy living.

Fair-coffee brand Wakuli, cultivated meat headliner Mosa Meat and Litterati, a free app that inspires people to ‘collect and tag litter’, are just a few of the innovators Rubio invested in after its successful first funding round.

“Rubio is a true pioneer with a strong track record in the growing European impact investment market,” said Helmer Schukken, Managing Partner at Rubio. “With our first fund, we proved that impact and financial return can reinforce each other. And that is why we stepped up the pace with the second fund, to make even more impact in areas that are vital to the world.”

If you are a pioneer working on people and planet-saving innovations in any of the thematic areas covered by the fund, take the test to find out if there are opportunities to collaborate with Rubio Impact Ventures.
