Debra Lam

Debra Lam is the Founding Executive Director of the Partnership for Innovation, a regional public-private partnership that strengthens communities by advancing innovation, expanding economic opportunity, and supporting workforce development. Previously, she served as the City of Pittsburgh’s first Chief of Innovation & Performance, leading efforts to make government more efficient, transparent, and responsive through smart technology, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making. She is also the co-author of Empowering Smart Cities through Community-Centered Public-Private Partnerships, a book that highlights how collaboration between government, business, and communities can deliver practical solutions that work.
