Bo Normark is the Industrial Strategy Executive at EIT InnoEnergy and one of the leaders of the EBA250 initiative - an industrial development programme of the European Battery Alliance. Bo has 35 years industrial experience with ABB, where he has served in many roles including global responsibilities for smart transmission grid technologies, such as High Voltage DC (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission (FACTS). He is also a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science and the Swedish National Grid Company (Svenska Kraftnät), and was previously a member of the Energy Development Board at the Swedish Energy Agency. In addition, Bo served in the role of Vice Chairman of the International Smart Grid Action Network (ISGAN) Power T&D Systems under the Clean Energy Ministerial Initiative.
