The American wind industry is so powerful it has been assigned its own week of celebrations.
Led by the American Wind Energy Association, this week is being used as an occasion to recognise the positive impact made by the country’s number one source of renewable energy.
More than a hundred thousand people work in the US sector and 500 factories make parts to support its development.
And in March of this year wind, along with solar energy, provided Americans with more than 10% of their electricity for the first time, according to new data.
There is still a day or two to follow events on social media #AmericanWindWeek.
