Agtech your thing?

(EUROPE)

Indoor farming and hydroponics are some of the agricultural innovations that will be in the spotlight at an event in Utrecht later this month.

The Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA Europe) will run alongside the inaugural international Week for Smart Food Production (IWSFP). Dozens of pioneering agtech products designed to accelerate the growth of a sustainable industry will be showcased as part of the Innovations Theatre element of GFIA Europe.

Nicola Davison, GFIA Show Director, said: “GFIA was born on the belief that continuous innovation in agriculture is the only way to support a food secure future. GFIA Europe as partners of International Week for Smart Food Production will continue this momentum with the vast number of new innovations being showcased for the first time in Utretch. For businesses looking to remain competitive and profitable GFIA Europe provides hundreds of product and solutions to improve yields, combat pests, save water, improve animal health or decrease inefficiencies.”

GFIA Europe is on from 20 to 21 June at the Jaabeurs Expo Center, Utrecht.
