WFP Innovation is on the hunt for ‘digitally-powered solutions that can contribute to building pandemic preparedness capabilities in the following countries: Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, and Togo‘.
The Digital Health Innovation Accelerator Program (DHIAP) offers startups up to US$250K in funding, mentorship and a chance to scale. Only mature startups and solution providers that ‘already have a presence in any of the target countries’ will be selected.
“Innovators will receive financial, technical, and methodological support from the WFP Innovation Accelerator and other partners as they enter the six-month WFP Sprint Programme,” the DHIAP website states.
The accelerator, led by the WFP Innovation Accelerator and BMZ digilab, is also backed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The deadline has now been extended until 25 September, 2022.
