#WorldFoodDay calls for #ZeroHunger

Hunger is rising: 821 million of our fellow citizens don’t have enough to eat. Compounding this tragedy is the fact we produce enough to feed everyone.

On this  let’s push for more innovative ways to distribute food and keep it fresh; and invest in the development of sustainable agricultural systems robust enough to feed a global population en route to hit nearly 10 billion by 2050, up from around 7.7 billion today.
