Marco Gualtieri – founder of the world’s premier food innovation summit – says “the world needs to take inspiration from young people” to overcome global grand challenges.
The annual Seeds&Chips event, which we are media partners with, is now in its fifth year. And for this May’s Milan edition the summit the organisers is partnering with Fondazione Francesca Rava – N.P.H. Italia Onlus, a ‘charitable non profit foundation that helps children in serious need in Italy and worldwide’ to launch the ‘Call for Teenovators’, and initiative targeted at 13 to 17 year olds with a vision for transforming food systems and delivering the UN Global Goals.
“In collaboration with Fondazione Francesca Rava – N.P.H. Italia Onlus, we are looking for the voices of tomorrow — teenagers who are working on transforming the food system and making a difference in communities around the world. Applicants will have the chance to open the conference sessions at the Fifth Edition of Seeds&Chips – The Global Food Innovation Summit in May. This is your opportunity to make an impact on the challenges facing the global food system,” the Seeds&Chips website states.
Successful Teenovators will also be able to set out their ideas for delivering the #GlobalGoals to key global influencers.
“Research shows that Generation Z is poised to become the most entrepreneurial generation ever, bound to influence the next big wave of innovation and fully achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,” added Marco Gualtieri.
