What is Resilience Frontiers?

The world’s brightest minds arrive in South Korea today to take part in a first-of-a-kind collective brainstorming event.

Invited to Songdo by new UNFCCC-led initiative, Resilience Frontiers, these visionaries will employ foresight thinking to create new pathways to a desirable future.

“This marks the start of a collective intelligence process on how best to respond to the deep societal transformations driven by emerging technologies and new sustainability trends, and maximize our resilience to climate change beyond 2030,” said Youssef Nassef, Director, Adaptation Programme, UNFCCC. “It will bring together 100 visionary thinkers and thought leaders for five days of collective thinking and brainstorming inspired by the Futures Literacy Laboratory framework developed by UNESCO.”

The unique interagency platform, Resilience Frontiers, is being launched on day one of the NAP Expo, part of the Korea Global Adaptation Week 2019.
