Tech key to sustainability goals

Social impact through digital innovation is the theme of next month’s WSA (World Summit Awards) Global Congress in Vienna.

Innovators Magazine is a media partner with the event, which has been championing sustainable innovation for 15 years.

“Digital technologies are one of the main drivers for the United Nations agenda towards the Sustainable Development Goals,” the WSA website states. “In Vienna, WSA and its Congress participants will present best practices and share experience on how social innovation and entrepreneurship can be encouraged and play a key role in having a sustainable impact on society.”

The packed programme will incorporate ‘interactive workshops, keynotes, winners’ innovation pitches, world cafes or fishbowl sessions’ as the City of Vienna becomes Smart, Digital and Social.
