Our favourite new Climate Leader…

We are – of course – big fans of climate leaders in general here at Innovators Magazine but in the spirit of bias, one definitely shone out for us this week.

The Climate Reality Leadership Corps training, led by former US Vice President Al Gore in Berlin, prepared its latest cohort to go out and #LeadOnClimate.

Among them was our impact comms lead, Carlotta De Toni, who, being the consummate professional, even found time to report from the event on Twitter and Instagram, as well as slot in an interview with Ken Berlin, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Climate Reality Project – stay tuned for that one.

Posting on Instagram ahead of the training, Carlotta said: “I can’t wait to learn more about the solutions available to reverse climate change and gain the skills to spread the word.”

 

As part of that, Carlotta is introducing a new column in our upcoming biotech special edition, which will be distributed at the BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology in Philadelphia, where she will share her knowledge and messages as a Climate Leader with industry stakeholders. We look forward to this being a regular and expanded section – in future print editions, as well as online – watch this space.

So a big congratulations to Carlotta and all who took part this week.
