Good fashion just got even better

Major players in the fashion world continue to accelerate innovations specifically designed to build a sustainable industry.

Global apparel company, the PVH Corp, is one of those, announcing today it has joined forces with Fashion for Good, a global initiative that offers collaborative and cross-sector programmes – including a startup accelerator and Scaling programme – created to achieve this. PVH Corp’s brands include Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, so it is well-placed to make a real impact.

Speaking about the new partnership, Katrin Ley, Managing Director of Fashion for Good, said: “PVH Corp. has a strong legacy in corporate responsibility, which it is advancing through innovative approaches to social and environmental issues. This makes it an ideal partner for Fashion for Good. Together, we will focus on innovations that offer better alternatives and enable transparency and traceability across the value chain, from source to store, with the ultimate aim to make fashion a force for good.”

PVH will contribute to the development of Fashion for Good’s ‘innovation agenda’ and be an integral part of an ecosystem pinpointing the most promising startups in the industry, offering them invaluable insight on how to take ideas all the way to commercial reality.
