The eyes of the global innovation economy will be firmly fixed on Glasgow next month.
The inaugural Global Game Changers awards, from Innovators Magazine and Herald Scotland, will be in town to recognise the pioneers and disruptors reshaping society – especially those playing their part in delivering a sustainable future.
Over the past couple of weeks we have been shining a spotlight on the finalists in each category and today it is the turn of startups.
The three finalists in the ‘startup and share’ category may work in very different fields but they are linked by their commitment to innovation.
Global asset management firm Arabesque, which uses big data to assess the performance and sustainability of companies, is up against Find a Player – ‘a a multi-platform app designed to take the pain out of organising and finding players for sports, games and events’; and young biotech firm EnteroBiotix.
Tickets for the ceremony, which will take place on 13 September at the Glasgow Science Centre, are on sale now.
