The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) is supporting the Allen Institute for AI freely produce research the global scientific community can use to fight COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Open Research Dataset (CORD-19) is sharing 45,000 articles on the virus – and others in the ‘coronavirus family’. The resource, backed by CZI, along with internationally-renowned research institutions including Microsoft Research and Georgetown University, will be regularly updated. To easily navigate it researchers can use the CORD-19 Explorer.

CORD-19 Challenge

Innovators working in Artificial Intelligence are also being urged to take part in the CORD-19 Challenge – being hosted by Kaggle – to accelerate new understanding of the pandemic.
