COP28 youth lay down trillion tree challenge

Johann Eickenbrock and Caterina Bittendorf, Plant For The Planet @ COP28, Dubai

The world needs both young and old to ‘plant trees in whose shade they may never sit’. And while planting a trillion of them might sound like a big ask, the Plant For The Planet team is committed to getting us there as part of its drive for global climate justice.

And as we’re asking decision makers and innovators at COP28 here in Dubai for their #COPHalfFull vision of the future, Johann Eickenbrock and Caterina Bittendorf, from Plant For The Planet, were the perfect pair to give us an optimistic take on what we can achieve if we move quickly from rhetoric to action.

Watch what they had to say in this video and learn more about Plant For The Planet and how you can be part of this global movement for change.
