A UN Climate Chief has issued a rallying call for young people to step up their efforts to deliver a sustainable world.

Speaking in a webinar today, Patricia Espinosa, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) told them ‘now is your moment’ when it come to climate action and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

“What we need right now – in this moment – are the ideas, innovation and energy that bring solutions to all countries, all markets and all people around the world,” she said. “Sharing information and knowledge is key for climate action. Influence those around you – friends, teachers, parents, grand-parents. It’s never too late to learn and change.”
