Young pioneers will be in the spotlight at this year’s Global Game Changers (GGC) awards in Glasgow.
We launched the GGC awards last year in partnership with Newsquest International; one of the world’s first cross-sector events celebrating innovators making an impact on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
There are 10 categories, with the Young Pioneer award targeted at any person or group of individuals (aged 18 – 25 years old) who are shaking things up with an idea, product or invention that is having a positive impact, achieving commercial success, changing how things are done, or is being harnessed by a school, business or organisation.
Internationally-renowned UN SDG advocate, Marc Buckley, will give the keynote speech at the awards on 12 September at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow. Read our Q&A with Marc in the spring launch edition of Impact Innovators, produced in collaboration with Knowledge4Innovation.
Applications will open soon for GGC 2018 – sign up for our free newsletter to get all the information on this year’s awards.
