The population of the 20th largest country in the world faces immeasurable suffering every day. That is where the world’s displaced, more than 70 million people, 1% of the global population, would rank if they were a country.

Around 30 million of displaced citizens are refugees and on today’s World Refugee Day the message is Every Action Counts. This is an important way to begin filtering your response. Because when an issue feels too big for the brain to manage we often switch off and focus on safer ground.

More pandemics, a worsening climate crisis, and relentless conflicts force populations to seek safe refuge. Nobody on the planet is immune from one or more of these. Right now we need to protect those unfairly impacted by these human-made challenges and then come together together, innovate and share responsibility to stop the incalculable harm.

Join the conversation, participate in a virtual event and discover ways every action can make a difference #WorldRefugeeDay
