On the eve of its 20th anniversary, Natural Power has revealed its 2020 wind power predictions.

Headquartered in Castle Douglas, Natural Power is a leading independent renewable energy consultancy and products provider.

It predicts that every year from now until 2020, the combined installed capacity for onshore and offshore wind in the UK will demonstrate CAGR of +11% year on year – that’s 24GW, or almost 66m MWh of electricity generated which is equivalent to powering 16m homes.
