What’s your recipe for innovation?

(SCOTLAND)

Two new categories have been added to Global Game Changers 2018 – officially launched today.

With a focus on rewarding impact innovations that are helping to achieve the UN Global Goals – across 10 sectors – the awards will be held in Glasgow on 12 September.

And with a growing global population and dwindling resources, new ideas are needed to build sustainable food systems – and the need is immediate, as 815 million people are starving worldwide right now.

As we said recently, food innovation is a big deal for us at Innovators Magazine and the new Food for Thought category recognises this. It is looking for a pioneering product, concept or service – created within any sector – for the purpose of contributing to a world without hunger.

Innovators Magazine and Newsquest International will host Global Game Changers 2018 at Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel. Marc Buckley, food pioneer and UN SDG advocate, is the keynote.

We are also delighted to be producing the The Beauty of Impact – Food book – with the Bayer Cares Foundation, which will be released this year – published on rock paper. It will have inspiring insight and examples of the game changing solutions redefining the future of food.
