Resilience Frontiers is a new interagency platform that brings together visionary thinkers dedicated to building desirable futures for us all – and it kicked off today in South Korea.
Launched on day one of the NAP Expo in Songdo, an event which is part of the Korea Global Adaptation Week 2019, it promises to be a landmark moment in the history of humanity, as it begins the disruptive brainstorming process for developing a sustainable journey for the planet – and its inhabitants – beyond 2030.
We are collaborating with the event, as a magazine and through our sister brand, OnePoint5Media. Follow #rf2019 for all the latest, and check out our coverage from Songdo on twitter and instagram, as well as on these pages by signing up for our newsletter.
The interagency platform is being supported by the UNFCCC secretariat in collaboration with Canada’s International Development Research Centre, EIT Climate-KIC, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Global Water Partnership, the Green Climate Fund, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the United Nations Environment Programme, and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs. The ‘event furthers the exploration of frontier issues launched by the United Nations Chief Executives Board for Coordination‘.
