We’re backing The Innovation Academy

|19 July 2016|

Innovators Magazine is delighted to announce that it is a founding partner of the new Innovation Academy.

We are working in conjunction with other organisations to support the Academy, which launches in our home city of Glasgow on 5 August, with its aim to become an integral part of the innovation economy.

Our magazine tagline is: ‘industries transforming our world’ and we focus on the sustainable industries leading that revolution.

So we were excited to learn of the Academy’s plans to develop accessible training courses in areas like fintech, cybersecurity and digital technology.

Radio broadcaster and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli, who was named the Creative Director this month, will lead sessions in locations across Scotland and London.

He said: “We are going to harness the expertise, the success, the brilliance of an international fellowship of industry leaders. We will share and create new information.”

Hardeep revealed the Academy is also working hard on a pioneering new e-learning platform which will enhance the ability of the Academy to reach a wider audience.

If you can, get along to what promises to be an exciting opening session in Glasgow on 5 August, which will also include the author  of new book, Upbeat: The Story of the National Youth Orchestra of Iraq – which is receiving great reviews – Paul MacAlindin.

And with Big Mic Ball on board too, it is going to be fun.

The launch event is be all about ‘cross-sectoral collaboration’ undoubtedly a key driver for innovation.

And to say thanks for our support the good people at the Academy are offering Innovators readers 30% off the Glasgow event. Just pop in discount code INNO30 here.
