Water security challenge launched

(ITALY)

Do you have an innovative idea to tackle water scarcity and quality issues across various ecosystems worldwide?

That is the challenge being laid down by the organisers of Milan’s annual global food innovation summit, Seed&Chips. They want to hear from startups, pioneering projects and individuals with game changing product and service ideas that can provide water security to support agriculture, tackle climate change, reduce waste, and produce nutritious foods. The closing date for applications is 30 December.

Thirty will be selected and offered the opportunity to exhibit at the Milan showcase, five will have their travel and accommodation expenses covered, and the winner will bag €10,000.

Innovators Magazine is a proud media partner of Seed&Chips, which welcomed Barack Obama as its keynote this year, and will have all the build up to the 2018 instalment, when John Kerry will follow in Obama’s footsteps.

Seed&Chips 2018 will be held from 7 to 10 May at the MiCo- Milano Congressi in Milan. Tickets are available now.
