The 2018 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum is underway in Davos.
This year’s theme is ‘creating a shared future in a fractured world’ and global leaders are gathered in Switzerland to find solutions for generating sustained economic growth for all.
The programme in Davos touches on many of the areas Innovators Magazine covers and was launched to promote and advocate for, with the role of technology likely to underpin many of the discussions.
“Technology-driven transformation is deeply influencing the way we live, the way we work, the way we behave, the way we talk to each other. It is also influencing international groups, politics, economics. This technology-driven world has influenced every aspect of our lives,” said Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, at this morning’s Opening Plenary.
