This international awards from the Bayer Foundations rewards game changing solutions that tackle humanity’s biggest health and nutrition challenges. There are 28 inspiring projects from 16 countries to vote for, with the five winners in line to receive €20,000 each; a special award will also go to social entrepreneurs in China.
Four of the five award winners will be selected by an expert jury on November 12 in Berlin, with the fifth in the hands of the public. The foundation’s Special China Award strives to increase awareness of social innovations across China.
The collective potential impact of the 2017 winners could solve the serious challenges being faced by more than two billion people on the planet.
