Calling all female entrepreneurs in the EU

The 2022 EU Prize for Women Innovators will award €100,000 to each of the top three women selected by an independent expert jury, who will also pick three ‘Rising Innovators’ under the age of 35 to receive €50,000 each.

Led by the European Innovation Council (EIC), this is the ninth edition of the annual Prize, which is open to EU residents, and women innovators in ‘Associated Countries, including Ukraine’.

Maria Fátima Lucas, co-founder and CEO of biotech startup, Zymvol, was a winner in 2020 and she wrote about the experience for Innovators Magazine.

“For me, the Women Innovators award is a huge incentive to follow my path. It has shown me that when we really want something, with ideas, motivation and work, everything is possible,” she said.

The deadline for 2022 applications is 18 August 2022 at 17:00 (CET).
