If you’re thinking – given the chance, that blockchain idea of yours could really improve the egg supply chain, we’ve got just the thing for you.
The Great Eggspectations initiative from Global Food Summit, Seeds&Chips – which we are media partners with – and the Coop and IBM, is calling for innovative ideas that fit the bill. The winning project team will have the opportunity to pilot their idea with the Coop ‘using IBM technology and €120,000 in IBM Cloud credit’.
“Food and Technology are closely linked today, particularly due to some of the tools we have available to us, such as Blockchain. It allows us to monitor the safety of food, to trace it, and to control the way that food is, processed, distributed and consumed. Seeds & Chips continues to collaborate with the best players in the food and technology sector, like Coop and IBM. This synergy will help to develop increasingly innovative, safe and sustainable solutions. Using blockchain for food is just one example of the enormous opportunities for economic development that are on the horizon for the food sector,” said Marco Gualtieri, Seeds&Chips Founder and Chairman.
