Switzerland has joined a major European supercomputer initiative.
Home to the world’s third most powerful supercomputer – Diz Paint – Switzerland becomes the eleventh country to sign the European declaration on high-performance computing (EuroHPC).
The plan is for the technology developed through the EuroHPC to be “available across the EU for scientific communities, industry and the public sector, no matter where the users are located,” the European Union (EU) said at the launch of the platform in March.
