Space in Response to COVID-19

The European Space Agency (ESA) is offering up to €1 million to support solutions relating to COVID-19. Focusing specifically on healthcare and educational projects, especially those that can be applied to Italy.

Demonstration Project proposals are sought in respect to healthcare across areas including: remote diagnosis; remote digital monitoring; medical resources planning; and sanitation of infected areas. For education, priorities include e-learning; social ‘virtual’ interaction to engage pupils; and e-conference for entrepreneurs. ESA will bear up to 50% of the acceptable cost (up to a max. estimated price of 1,000,000 Euro).
