A new online resource showcasing effective net-zero solutions that policymakers can adopt has been launched ahead of COP26.
NetZero Pathfinders is a searchable platform containing a bank of policies that are proving successful at a regional and national level worldwide, and has been created by BloombergNEF (BNEF), Bloomberg LP, and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
“Setting ambitious net-zero goals is an important step for government and business leaders, and taking action to reach them is even more critical. Our NetZero Pathfinders platform is designed to help. The effort will provide leaders in both the public and private sectors with proven strategies and solutions to reduce carbon emissions,” said Michael R. Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg L.P. and Bloomberg Philanthropies and the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Climate Ambition and Solutions. “When we take action at every level, we can make a real difference in the fight against climate change.”
