A pioneering young company from Poland has developed a smart bin that automatically sorts waste into the correct categories for future recycling.
Bin-e debuted at the recent Pioneers’17 event in Vienna and the innovative startup team behind it plans to take the intelligent product to a global market of businesses, homes, airports, outdoors spaces and just about everywhere else bins go.
The idea is that the tech does the job humans seem to struggle with the most – segregate waste properly.
CEO Jakub Lubonski said the company’s “ambitions and plans are big” and it wants to develop relevant partnerships to help achieve the ultimate goal of taking Bin-e to “the global market”.
