A Polish startup has attracted €500,000 of investment for its smart bin technology.
Innovators Magazine reported last year the progress being made by early stage company Bin-e – which is pioneering tech that can sort waste into specific categories for recycling. Since then the team has secured half a million euros from equity fund Altamira, and penned a deal to set up a production factory in Poland.
“We are astonished not only by the imagination and the ambitions of the founders but also by how consequently they keep realising their vision. It is the combination of being a dreamer and having both feet on the ground which makes us optimistic,” said Aleksander Wasiukiewicz from Altamira.
