Siemens has signed up with a global startup platform to tap into the game-changing ideas transforming the energy industry.
It has joined Plug and Play‘s new Energy & Sustainability Program to develop key collaborations with pioneering young companies developing frontier technologies. Silicon Valley’s Plug and Play initiatives bring together a network of corporations, venture capitalists and startups to drive forward new innovations.
“The collaboration with Plug and Play as a member in the new energy program is a key initiative for Siemens to develop the relationship with leading startup companies in the energy and adjacent markets. We are passionate about this partnership and the opportunities that come with the connection to this global ecosystem,” said Zuozhi Zhao, Chief Technology Officer of the Power and Gas Division of Siemens.
The 12-week Energy & Sustainability platform will run twice a year.
