A revolution in the relationship between people and nature is needed to accelerate actions that can deliver the 17 UN Global Goals, according to a new report.
The UN’s Global Sustainable Development Report #GSDR was compiled by 15 independent scientists from around the world and identifies 20 points where action can trigger swifter progress. Transformations in areas including consumption and production, food, energy, and cities are highlighted as being vital for delivering greater momentum. Titled: The Future is Now: Science to Achieve Sustainable Development it is the first such report produced since the Goals were adopted four years ago.
