We are continuing our build up to the 10th anniversary European Innovation Summit.
The circular economy is an important area for us and one leaders heading to Brussels for the Summit at the end of the month plan to focus on. It will be central to a dinner debate titled, SPIRE 2050: Unlocking the Climate Technology, the process industries’ commitment to reach a net-zero horizon.
“SPIRE cPPPs has released its new SPIRE 2050 Vision which has a clear ambition to tackle the Climate Change Gap, scale up circular economy through Hubs for Circularity and mobilise private and public investments for a globaly competitive EU Process Industry,” the EIS programme says of the debate. “Collaboration with Member States, regions and new stakeholders will be very important to deliver added value and benefits for our planet and society. This debate aims at a fruitful discussion with representatives of the EU Parliament, MS, regions, EC colleagues and industry on how these actions can be implemented through Horizon Europe and an adequate combination of other funding schemes and private financing.”
