‘Run as fast as climate change’

NAP Expo 2019 in South Korea will bring together ‘actors and stakeholders’ committed to forging partnerships that can advance National Adaptation Plans (NAPs).

‘Reducing vulnerability to the impacts of climate change, by building adaptive capacity and resilience’ is a primary objective of NAPS; the Expo will be an occasion to advance these goals.

The NAP Expo is an outreach event organized by the Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) under the UNFCCC, in collaboration with various bodies and organizations, to promote exchange of experiences and foster partnerships between a wide range of actors and stakeholders on how to advance National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), the event website states.

The Expo is part of the ‘Korea Global Adaptation Week – which will be hosted by the Korean Government. Internationally renowned UN Global Goals advocate, and member of the Expert Network for the World Economic Forum, Marc Buckley, will be among the leading futurists sharing their insight on creating desirable futures. Marc said he will show how ‘anyone can create and execute an Exponential Roadmap to solve our Climate Crisis in order to meet the Paris agreement’.

NAP Expo 2019 takes place from 8 to 12 April 2019, in Songdo, Republic of Korea. Register now.
