Rolling Stone gathers no plastic

Mick Jagger is calling on people to join him in reducing the scourge of plastic waste.

The rock icon tweeted this weekend that he is taking on the challenge to #PassOnPlastic. The initiative is being spearheaded by Sky Ocean Rescue – which launched last year to ‘find innovative solutions to the problem of ocean plastics, and inspire people to make small everyday changes that collectively make a huge difference’.

Sky Ocean Rescue also supports the Turn the Tide on Plastic’ sailing team currently competing in the Volvo Ocean Race. The team, led by Dee Caffari, is using its profile to raise awareness about the damage being caused by plastic waste.

Share the ways you plan to #PassOnPlastic on social media and join the movement pushing for a sustainable world.
