Robots ‘revolutionise local delivery’

|2 December 2016|

London

Robots are delivering food to hungry customers in Greenwich – as they get to work in London for their new employee, Just Eat.

The company’s collaboration with Starship Technologies – who build robots designed to ‘revolutionise local delivery’ – will lead to increasing numbers of the autonomous vehicles hitting the streets of the English capital city in the near future.

Graham Corfield, UK managing director of Just Eat, said: “We are delighted to add robot home delivery to the Just Eat service. Now that we are live in Greenwich, we’re working towards a larger rollout of the pilot programme across London in the New Year.”
