Robot housekeepers find work in America

|6 February 2017|

USA

By the end of the decade 1 in 10 US homes will have a robot housekeeper, according to a new report.

Increased time pressures and urbanisation were cited by Juniper Research as reasons American households will increasingly look to robots for help.

Dyson, Samsung and LG have already unveiled products in this space, with Juniper predicting global unit shipments will reach 48 million in 2020, up from 15.7 million this year.
